I just received an email from EB Games noting that they are intending to be back, albeit as an online only store, with a planned re-launch date of 5 May 2026.
I guess we have to wait and see if they meet that date or not.
I would also guess (but retain a small degree of unrealistic hope that I am wrong) that they won't be doing second-hand / trade-in options any more which, for me, was their primary point of difference from other retailers :-(
