Using the codes brings this down to $499.50 but you can go lower if you have any old monitor to trade up from to get another $50 off.

Seems a reasonable monitor for anyone not after gaming refresh rates with the benefits of having some in built apps for media or basic tasks and inckudrs a magnetic webcam. Only other retailer with it seems to be pb tech who are wanting $995 for it.

  • How do the trades work? Do you have to send it in? The cost of courier would cut into the savings.

    • If its like the tv when the courier drops off ya new one they take ya old one.

And if its like with a phone they supply a prepaid courier label

    • Its handled by Fliway couriers part of NZPost, they will deliver the monitor and pickup the old one at the same time, you just need to take photos and such of your old monitor (in case there's issues) and slap the courier label they email you, on to it.

      • And if you're trading a broken device it actually says on the label that it's to be delivered to the e-waste area, which I thought was quite funny.

        • Yes, I have done three trade ins. Monitor, Washing Machine and Vacuum. Each time I marked as not working and got the same trade in value. I noticed each time it went to ewaste. All devices were working, but I didnt want any come back by Samsung, so always tick not working.

    It’s VA panel…..

thanks for reminding. RRP in Pbtech for $995 seems insane for a VA Panel. Initially I thought it was IPS panel when I looked at that price.

    • That's a good deal, I would have pounced on that if I saw this in time

  • Doesnt seem to work, comes up with an error

I had an m7 and paid about the same.

Don't buy these monitors is my advice. The tizen stuff is so ungodly annoying and slow. I set up an arduino as an HID device to put in key strokes to avoid having to use their slow, clunky, software with that remote.

Hey that's smart! I have a 43 inch Samsung tv next to me in the box. Used for a couple weeks but tizen is just so god awful I went back to my old TCL TV with Google tv. So much better even if the panel is worse.
