Send an email to head office, theyll tell the store off and youll get treated like a vip in the future when price matching.

Just bought 5 trays from Sylvia Park Warehouse. No questions asked the bloke priced matched my phone and said wow that is cheap and a good price. Never had issues at that Warehouse.
Gave me the "We don't price match with New World" bullsh**. Spoke to the store manager and said it was okay.
Honestly I don't get why these employees try so hard making up ridiculous excuses to not price match.
What annoys me is when i was getting denied a price match someone ran out with something, alarms went off, staff were "meh, we dont chase them" so….. pricematch no….. theft fine

I think I bought the last packs of 12 at NW Pukekohe. Expiry date is 20 March! I whisked up and froze 2 doz in a few ziplock bags for scrambled eggs and baking needs

Just tried at Hastings Warehouse, Staff wouldnt let me price match so i requested the manager and a supervisor came out said manager not in today so i explained i wanted to pricematch these and she said no its got to be local so then i said doesnt say that in your terms and conditions she then aaid oh really ill try get that updated on the site.
I then laughed and said good luck and walked out without my eggs 🤣
