  • Dear Cheapies whanau,

May I ask where else do you normally list your vehicles, other than trademe?

    Thanks

  • No where else has the audience, TradeMe when offering a deal is the best place to sell a car.

    • I assume this is sarcasm? I listed a car on trademe, marketplace and auto trader. Marketplace had triple the views of trademe, and auto trader struggled to pass 20 😂 for cars marketplace wins imo and listing is free. I'm buying a scrub cutter atm and trademe has zero and marketplace I can find 6 in my area. Not trying to hate on them but I don't see the numbers making sense.

  • Honestly a waste of $9 listing on Trademe. FB marketplace is way better. On trademe I get low ball offers and snarky comments from anonymous users trying to drive the price down.

Facebook is way better, you can basically vet people before they show up at your door, and way less haggling.

    • Agreed, plus it's so easy to dm get the address done deal

    • My experience is the opposite. On Facebook I just get low ballers, scammers and idiots. On Trademe I have a 100% success rate of selling vehicle. I'd rather pay $100 on Trademe than nothing on Facebook.

  • I've expired this deal as it looks like TradeMe have pulled this from their promo page.

  • They regret. lol

  • Yes, some complaints that it wasn't active on Sunday over on the Trade Me community page.
