Bought some this week and it's good pork this time (From Pukekohe, may vary by location though, last time we bought this deal the mince tasted a bit funky).

      they have been terrible since they changed hands, that was like 10 years ago.
      they went back to family hands but the damage is done.

  To explain the funky taste, its from male pigs that are not castrated, Its called boar taint.

  I personally hate the taste.
