Landlord isn't renewing their lease and they say they can't find anywhere else suitable in Dunedin to set up shop. Going to miss their weekly specials and Thursday deals.

I won't miss buying the chicken breast which is never sealed (just clingwrapped over the trays), gets messy in the bag in the car if you are unlucky etc.
Yeah they were poorly wrapped, but once I realized that I made sure to always chuck a freezer bag in the back of the car along with the reusable grocery bags when I knew was going grocery shopping, so it wasn't a big deal, especially when you're saving 25% compared to the supermarket prices.
It might not be the best meat but having somewhere that often sells chicken breasts and (AU) pork mince for under $10/kg will be missed for sure. Seems like a much more useful business for Dunedin than a larger car yard. Andrew Simms already seems to have plenty of locations around, guess they need more space for the larger and larger vehicles they sell :( it's a shame. They offer afterpay and zip too which other meat places don't (that I know of), so an extra kick for those that need to spread payments.
Absolutely terrible
