Made in France by un pâtissier?

I asked Google a question:

Do croissants freeze well?

Yes, you can freeze croissants, both baked and unbaked, to keep them fresh for 1–2 months. To maintain their flaky texture, freeze them as soon as possible after purchasing, preferably in sealed freezer bags or wrapped individually in plastic. Reheat directly from frozen in a 180°C (350°F) oven for 5–10 minutes.

These may be made in France but the French would be appalled by these poor excuses for croissants. Second ingredient is palm fat.

A proper croissant is made from butter.

It's damn difficult to find an all butter croissant in a NZ supermarket. The Costco ones are the best I have found.

Second this, they changed the presentation and had them placed in boxes instead of the plastic wrap.

Looks fancier, but as part of this switch they changed from all butter croissants to this alternative vegetable oil with token butter. First thing I did when they changed the packaging was to check the ingredient list.

I'd say the packaging is less environmentally as the plastic window is thicker and there's cardboard… glad they chose to spend money on the packaging and not the quality of the ingredients.

Absolute travesty calling these Croissants, they are just bread shaped like croissants! And now they are trying to put glitter on shit by putting them in boxes lol

I have not come across a single supermarket here that sells actual croissants.

What do you mean no butter??

It's right there, just behind the palm fat and coconut oil :-)
