looking to get a new desk possibly for my pc and laptop looking to spend less then $250 as the desk i have now since 2016 is quite big and i want to downsize
only thing the desk must have is at least 1 drawer so i can store my usb sticks portable hdd/ssd and a couple of other things in

You have a good chance of picking up something pretty good for next to nothing, especially if you are patient.

In all seriousness ikea is probably the go now.
If you’re into a little diy then a slab and some legs from bunnings aren’t very expensive (no drawer)
If youre in South Auckland All Heart Store Manukau buys furniture from offices and sells it for way below.
Bought a desk there for $100 and haggled down from $150 (MSRP 450 +).
Staff are super friendly as well.
