I wet paper towel and cover the bun with it and microwave for 30sec-1min depending on your microwave power
They're steamed buns, so we steam them. A shortcut method is to put them on top of your rice when cooking rice in a rice cooker, when the liquid has just dried up but the rice is not fully cooked yet. The remaining time is sufficient to heat up the buns.
I bought a $10 steamer from Kmart and steamed buns are pretty much the only thing I use it for XD

My method is to sprinkle a lil bit water on the buns first and microwave them for 30 sec with a cover
