Q: Is this a physical SIM card?

No. Ozly provides eSIMs (digital SIMs). Nothing is shipped. You receive it by email.

Q: When do I receive the eSIM?

Usually within minutes after purchase via email.

Q: When should I install it?

You can install anytime after purchase.
Most users install before travel and activate on arrival.

Q: Does it come with a phone number or calls/SMS?
These are data-only plans.
Apps like WhatsApp, iMessage, FaceTime, etc. work normally using data. However having said that we’re in talks with our network partners to ship our eSIMS with phone numbers for the destination.

Q: Can I top up if I run out?

Yes. Top-ups are available for most destinations.

Q: What phones are supported?

Any eSIM-compatible phone.
Common examples include recent iPhones, Google Pixel, and Samsung Galaxy models.

    I had a quick look on your site & couldn't find an activation timeline (some you need to activate within a month etc) planning for a trip end of April so wanted to know if I could buy now or better to wait

    Please make sure your deal title is clear / descriptive. If you're charging in a foreign currency please specify what it is, alongside with details like data quota / validity period. This info was already added in but please DIY next time. Thanks

  • Hi OP, great timing. I've been searching for esims for my trip in April. I see you guys have added AUD as per feedback in ozb posts. Will you be adding NZD as well? and what triggers the activation for the esim? Is it turning my data for that esim 'on' once I arrive in the destination country?
