As someone who paid full price for Starfield on PC, $3 is still to much.

I loved Skyrim. I have recorded in steam 400 hours, but they started tracking that a few years after launch.

What do you mean "before you said F it"? That's longer than most people spend on any game. Not only is 80 hours far longer than what's needed to complete this game, but a single player game with 80 hours worth of content before you say "F it" is quite the bragging rights.
This game is basically just "if they made a space game instead of fallout 4". It would've been amazing in 2015. It's still pretty decent today, especially if you like how bethesda games play. For $3 you literally cannot complain, especially if you managed to spend 80 hours in it - I finished and dropped it before 40.
It took that long to find out how S the story was and it's just a multiverse. Nothing you do has any meaning and space shouts are very stupid, especially flying through the bubbles to get them.
I have recorded over 1749 hour in cyberpunk, hundreds of hours in Skyrim, so giving a game i paid $185 for good shake at the stick was the least i could do and I'm never going back to it.
This game has been abandoned by the modding community it's dead.
Star Wars Genesis would beg to differ.
It's a total conversion mod.True it doesn't have the modding community compared to Skyrim tho but it isnt dead.
almost not worth it, only reason to buy starfield is to mod it, and the only mod that matters is the star wars genesis mod that just fully converts it to actually being a good game
Apparently Starfield 2.0 is in the works as a major update.
If they can improve the crazy boring loading screen / animations in between turning in quests etc it might be good
Loading screens were not the key problem for me. The lack of hand crafted content and world to explore was. Finding the same copy pasted buildings and locations, is a blow to have a reason to explore. Hence the fast travel for quests and loading screes being pointed at as the problem. When it was more the mechanism that players were forced to take when they found the game boring and lifeless.
I think I got to neon ? And it was kinda … funny how disappointing it was given what the npcs were saying.
IMO it’s not the loading screens that are the issue, it’s how many there are. There’s this quest where it’s a guy on a space station you report to. To essentially send what should have been an email to this guy is was iirc two loading screens, the docking animation, the leaving the planet animation and then you might have tonpiss about with space combat too. I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. The game needs a damned space phone
You’re right about the copy paste. I ended up in the same cave with the same people in the same places on different planets several times.
The old west city is probably the best place in the game but it’s super duper out of place
I played probably about 80hrs I enjoyed it after paying $26 for it which I thought was a fair price.
$3 why not. Added it to a clearance pointless LED light I have had my eyes on for a while. lets just see when they cancel half of the order without my consent and I only get the $30 xbox light.
My gamepass is expiring soon and I won't be renewing it, so good time to stock up on cheap games. Cheers!
