Free is as cheap as it gets for Motors, and they had a free deal like every month last year.
I've been holding back my listing waiting for a free deal, so I'm guessing they're hurting for listing count, but at the same time trying to wind down free listings.
As everyone finds (see Kogan, and Burger King, and Dominos), regular, open discounting is a great way to get marketshare, but it's near impossible to break free from.
