These are the guys that provide aerial shots to Google maps, but tend to be updated more frequently.

Vexcel Group offers free, unlimited High-Resolution Aerial Imagery.
Their images are from 2020 to current in Australia and NZ.
They also offer Australia too

All you need to do:
- Sign up
- Activate the account
- Login
Use the ANZ Viewer

  Last one in our area was Mar 2025, and looks like about once a year prior, so probably will be updated with a couple of months or so.

  Thanks for sharing. Shows Christchurch, Dunedin, Queenstown, and Nelson in the south island. And 9 towns & cities in the North Island.
