EB Games Online Order Disappeared

has anybody had there item removed from there online orders?

i ordered a controller online the day they had the 50% off sale 2 days ago i checked and it still was not shipped

but today i have checked and my order is not on my account anymore

checked and have not gotten an email from them

do you think i will get my item or will i get a refund i checked my paypal and i have no refunds

    Mine has also disappeared from my order history, but still exists when I click through from the original order confirmation email.

    Unrelated, I went into EBG a few days ago and spotted a few items including one I was quite keen on buying. I took them to the counter. Two of the three wouldn't scan (but they found the items in their database), the third, and the one I really wanted, didn't scan either, and then I was told they couldn't find the item in the DB at all. Because of that, I was told they couldn't sell it to me and took it away. As the guy behind the counter tried to continue with the sale of the other, lesser significant items, I was just so flabbergasted by the response, I said "don't worry about it", and walked away.

    I get they've gone under, but surely an exception could've been made and a price entered for the sale (having worked in retail, there are legitimate ways to do this for items not in the system).

    • I had the opposite problem, i purchased something, it didn't work so i complained online but wasn't sure they'd sort it so returned it to store for a refund.

      Online then replied saying that product was recalled and should never have been sold to you. They clearly didn't remove that item from the database.

    My order is the same… Doesn’t show under order history but will show when I click through to the order from email. Ordered on the 16th of January. Went to processing around the 22nd. I’m doubtful it will get fulfilled so I’ve submitted an email enquiry to their customer services.

  • They'd cancelled the majority of the items in my orders and left like a few of the retro games, I wasn't willing to pay $10 shipping for one or two $3 games so ended up cancelling the whole order. Still waiting on refunds.

    • That’s a shame! Did they recently cancel the items? Also when did you request the refund?
