Best Place to Sell Networking Gear

Hi — I’ve got a leftover Cisco networking lab equipment I need to sell. eBay isn’t something I’ve tried yet; Trade Me and Marketplace haven’t been getting much response. Any other place I could try

I have generally sold on TradeMe, but my observation is that there is almost always loads of old networking kit for sale, so you can't usually expect a quick sale unless you price it very low just to get rid of it. If you get questions, answer them, and then incorporate that into the re-listing (assuming you don't sell that time) so you don't get the same question(s) multiple times.

MarketPlace is a waste of time - literally. Networking kit is not really a target product on MarketPlace - most users there are more likely looking for new clothes they can wear twice and then bin or re-sell. On MarketPlace, you'll usually get a fairly high percentage of time-wasters compared to posting it on TM, plus most people on FaceBook aren't going to read whatever you include in the listing (I suspect most people using FaceBook since about 2010 can't actually read all that well, but hey!), which more rarely occurs on TM, although certainly not never :-)

You probably need to be patient, and ideally have a good rep (TM at least). Also helps if you have an 'old account' - anything up to about 2009, and ideally with a five-digit TM ID, even if you don't have a high rep, as people will tend to trust you more.
