  • Bought one on Black Friday for $89. Don’t know if it’s still available for price protection:(

If you have the receipt, you could buy a new one for new price and then return the same product with old receipt.

      • It will have different serial numbers, why risk the embarrassment than straight up ask. Black Friday from memory is 28th of Nov should still be with-in the 30-day price protection.

        • If it has different serial numbers then it's a different product. I've never seen a same product with different SKU or Serial Number

@Saturdaysr4thedealz: You're wrong there I'm afraid. All serial numbers are different, even on identical items. It's the whole point of them. Apart from allowing people to register individual items for warranty purposes it contains a host of information that the manufacturer (and sometimes the consumer with some products) can access. Right down to the exact time and date of manufacture.

I know someone who directly imported a 3D printer from China. It failed after a few weeks. The returns procedure to China was non existent, so they thought they were being smart and bought 1 from a New Zealand retailer. Then after a couple of weeks they tried to send them their faulty one from China for a replacement. The retailer rejected them because they had noted the serial number and it didn't match…….

I've never known noel leeming to record the serial number at the time of purchase. All they do is scan thr barcode which is generic. Serial numbers arent listed on the receipt.

      • Thanks. Mine is still unopened. Asked for price protection by email but they don’t reply during holidays.
