Wanting some help in getting a TV as I'm quite unfamiliar in this category（haven't had one in 10 years after everyone in the family had their own devices).
Looking for one to use for streaming (YouTube, twitch, stremio), cast from my PC, and also play switch.
Maybe looking at 50+inch screen and good screen quality. Hoping not to spend too much like $1000+.

Also can get a 65" Neo QLED QN1EF 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV (2025) - for that price too if you get this TV,
current price is ~$1299 with trade in of some old/broken tv but as per this post, it does goes down to around ~$1100 at times if you can spend a slight bit more, there's also the 55" version usually around $800-900

Has VRR upto 144hz too for gaming/pc, Stremio works as per some comments here and also has Samsung Plus internet Tv
Also depends where the TV will be, like its it for lounge use? then bigger is better.

I'd say this is a solid choice, 4k but 2k res @ 120hz, qled, 6.5 response time - fine for console.
In my experience TCL tops all budget option panels in regards to clarity and blacks. 55" is a good size too.
