Pricebeat that and its even better
for mixing it will not matter much , which i use this for , i have ninja blast and have used nutri portable , blast feels lot nicer built quality but at higher price and as per reviews blast has better blending performance which does not mater if your just mixing . i am thinking of getting nutri flex now as it bigger i n size and slightly powerful so i will price match jb with briscos
What's the point of blending on the go? Why not blend at home and take the smoothie with you? I don't understand this product
blend at your cubicle, exhibit dominance
Better, we got a gang of that in our workplace. They do it in the staff room all of them at the same time.
i use mine at work for protein shakes. free work provided milk and on-site gym. quick rinse after im done and i do like the portability. pretty niche use-case though.
I use one of those stick milk frothers, works way better than I expected. Something like this https://www.kmart.co.nz/product/milk-frother-43329281/ but unsure of the actual brand I got.
I always find these ones to be piss-weak in power, i'm not sure about the kmart ones but the ones i've gotten from aliexpress and other countries have always been crap in performance. There's an expensive one (nanofoamer) that i haven't tried, which apparently is quite good.
Have you found one that can actually mix whey protein?
@denverthedinosaur: I have the one from New England Stories on Amazon Au. And yeah I use a heaped scoop of whey protein in a what I would call standard tall tumbler glass and it's mixed within a few seconds.
@denverthedinosaur: try ninja blast max its the most powerful out there its decent . i just have ninja blast its also nice efor mixing
Hate those things. Ran through a few of the Kmart ones, then shelled out for a brand name. They all died.
Junk.
its good for mixing i make milo , cold chocolate drink, lemonade , milk shakes its good. at our work we get milk and we can have some food at work place as we are in health care , it mixes very well and makes tasty chocolate drink , i have ninja blast its very easy to clean and disassemble i used to use blender bottle for this which is kind of some work but this solves it like i just have to add and use the blender . charges with type c , at home i use it for same i also have vitamix which i can do same things with just few or single pluse . but this is portable i can take it and its great , i still use vitamix for large batches . both have there place .
wonder if i could use this for making ginger-garlic paste etc for marinades? ever tried for anything other than shakes/smoothies?
I would use some thing like this for ginger garlic paste
https://www.briscoes.co.nz/product/1093228/russell-hobbs-des…
its a glass bowl in it goes in dishwasher no more garlic smell
@stardust: Do you have any recommendations for a good combo processor and blender? I’d like to try making nut butter and would like a good multipurpose appliance. Thanks
@SilverLining: i got vitamix blender some weeks ago and have started using it i got it on deal 600 for a2300i + free container, i have not yet made nut butter, but have started using it for other things like Guacamole , dosa ( indian flat bread ) batter and many other things it seems to excel at them much easier and better then my ninja .
it does not have food processor option in nz , my ninja has but i never used it , i do use my braun hand blender which is multiquick 7 which i had to import from germany. many years ago now its readily available in nz , i use it a lot it has a food processor bowl .and small medium and tall large bowl and i use them all a lot .
we cook food at home and rarely eat out , and make breads at home and have stand mixer and spice grinder and a separate grain grinder . ( from china )
Could also price beat at Briscoes if your M10 doesn't have stock

I wonder if they would decline because a promo code is required
Man, another disposable appliance. At least the price is good
this portable blender rather great use case if you use shaker bottle or blenderbottle a lot . its build quality is better then all other options , its design is really nice easily to clean drop of soap and water and its clean and away it goes in the cupboard . for blender bottler i had to wash it in dishwasher , this is lot convient , its also quiet i have lemon tree at home and also make lemonade with it i put honey sweetner and juice and its done
It's the built-in battery that makes it disposable. So many of our devices are like this now.
yes about 500 ish to 1000 recharge cycles for regular standard lithium ion battery not bad.
this blender i can do about 6 ish cycles easily for just mixing before it reduces to yellow light ie low battery which in this way i can use it for 3 years if i kind of use it every day , for 43 nzd for which i got my ninja blast . think its a fantastic deal . and still a great alternative to blender bottles which cost 5 nzd from iherb or over 10 nzd each for regular ones . but i have to put them in dishwasher . this is just convenient and i have recently started doing weights training and this just provides better quality of life for me to just blend it on the go closer to workout ,
i use sonicare tooth brush the time its battery starts degrated the other materials on the brush is kind of already very well used up and dont think its good idea to still use it .
i think all this batteries will move to sodium ion batteries slowly as its far cheaper to make them ( not yet done but catl and byd are just about going to make many ) and sodium ion can comfortably do 1000 + charge cycles , sodium is also non toxic .
then there is plastics which i dont know if we can use them sustainability still long way to go for them

You're meant to replace the brush though.
I'm on my second Sonicare. Went with the Diamond clean first, but after that died, I bought a lower one. Not worth hoping to the top I think, the difference is not that dramatic.
The ninja blast max (newer model, detachable mix cup) is $59 at noel leemings
Now $49.99 at PB. Must be a brand promotion - possibly clearing the line?
Nutribullet portable all time low for $38 at jbhifi as well. Similar performance on rtings website
