Hi guys,

Has any bought a phone from Meta Trader through Mighty Ape?

It's significantly cheaper than the mainstream retailers. But I worry about warranty, genuiness and if they work the same as the models bought from NZ retailers.

      Yep. The same trader is selling it on Kogan and Dick Smith for the same price.

    The phone is likely to be genuine and bought from Hong Kong or Singapore where the prices are more reasonable.Theres only 2 model available for this phone; Chinese or Global. The entire world uses the same model of Global. I bought my Find x9 Pro from overseas as the local prices are absurd.

      Can I ask which overseas retailer you bought it from? And hows the phone going for you at the moment?

        I bought mine from Wondamobile. It's an amazing phone and a much needed replacement for my aging Sony Xperia 1 ii

            @AyyTso: No tinkering needed. The version you buy from overseas is the EXACT same version you buy here for $600 more

              The prices here are steep, especially comparing to last years phones.

          Thanks for sharing that shop, not one I'd seen before. Did you have to deal with GST and duty charges as well?
