Word of warning..
After using Flixonase for 2 weeks (prescribed by my GP), I lost my sense of smell and did not regain it until 4 years later.
My GP initially was not aware this could be a side effect, but later found that some users have reported similar experiences.
After various tests and reviews, the most likely explanation was that Flixonase triggered Post-Inflammatory Olfactory Dysfunction (PIOD), a condition that can take several years to resolve.
Is there actually evidence for this?
Sorry for what happened to you but how did you ascertain that was not the complication of your inflammatory condition rather than side effect of flixonase?
It could well be that the users with similar conditions needed flixonase but happened to develop complication of the conditions at the same time.yea dont think its related to the Flixonaise, Ive been using this product religiously for a few years now
