Dam.. dnt need this but i want it

    • I feel your pain, feel like I'm on the same boat

  • Did the price go up? Showing 299 on my screen

    • Discount is only applied in cart

I just ordered the Solo with their bundle which comes with the same frother separately as the &milk model.

The discount from the coupon only shows in cart, not on listing. So it’s $325 on listing, $269.75 in cart.

Note that the over $299 versions dont include the “$300 Nespresso credit voucher”

  • Sorry not much of a coffee person, but my wife drinks plenty of it. She uses a De'Longhi Inissia Coffee Machine but doesn’t really use the milk part. Is this machine any ‘better’?

    • +1

The Citiz and the Inissia will make the exact same quality espresso; the Citiz is just a premium version. Its a bit sleeker, better build quality (more metal), and has a larger 1.0 L water tank versus the Inissia's 0.7 L. It's really a convenience upgrade over a flavour one.

      • Thank you for the info!

    • I'm sure some Nespresso machines perform better than others but if you want better coffee the next step isn't swapping the machine it's upgrading to a full coffee machine with a grinder. If she doesn't use the milk part I'd highly recommend looking at pourovers or aeropress paired with fresh ground beans. For $300 an aeropress and brevill burr grinder will make a great non milk based drink.

      • Thank you, will look into this!

  • Has anyone ordered from this site?

    • Quite a few Cheapies have. They're an official Spark reseller.

Talk is Cheap is a division of Entelar Group, which is a subsidiary of Spark NZ.

This deal from Talk is Cheap specifically would likely be old Spark promo stock. I remember these coffee machines were included free from Spark a few months ago if you bought a Samsung S24FE.

I suspect that the phones for sale from Talk is Cheap are probably Spark customer’s traded in devices that get refurbished by Entelar, could be wrong on that one though. So yeah you can definitely pick up some sweet deals there from a reputable business!

    • I just received my phone now from them (2 days from online order)

      • Mine the next day, and I have a rural address. The iPhone 15 Pro Max was New,the battery hundred percent no cycles but grade one and came with a free wallet cover. Only thing worn was the box that looked grubby.

  • I ordered :)

    • Awesome I'm glad to hear it! You're welcome, and thanks for the update

Just a further update the $300 credit had a little bit of a hassle, it had already been redeemed according to the website, but I phoned the Nespresso hotline and sorted it.

        • Good to know as I have reached out to the seller regarding this myself

          • @Nuzzer: Did this get resolved for you @Nuzzer? I left an enquiry through their website and emailed separately, however have been ghosted thus far.

Nespresso advised to deal with the seller and could not give the credit that had been 'used'

@djb41: I have also brought this and couldnt redeem the voucher. Nespresso also couldnt sort this, so i have emailed the seller, who replied and said they are sorting this out and getting me a new voucher. Still waiting to hear back from them.

              • @SYG: Thanks SYG. At least confirms some effort happening their side. Cheers!

            • @djb41: Yes. Nespresso knew of the promotion but were surprised I didn't buy the phone. The person I spoke to went off to talk to someone else and they then applied the $300 credit. It's a good thing as I've already sold the coffee machine!
