Kogan 70" Qled 4K Tizen Smart TV (with Samsung TV Plus) - T97q (Opinions?)

For $699 ($778 with shipping) this seems like a very good price for a QLED TV this size.

I am very close to purchasing. I see a lot of negative reviews about Kogan customer service. But can anyone shine some advice on whether this is a good deal?

Thanks in advance.

I've actually had pretty good experiences with customer service. It's the products that are often crap. Had an electric blanket replaced twice under warranty without question, no need to even send it back, they just sent me another one. Same with some wifi bulbs. Can't comment on the TV though, sorry.

  • I'd only buy a good familiar brand from NZ. Join Samsung, get email deals and discounts. Black Friday sales also coming up. Samsung has 24/7 support and honestly they're great to deal with. Go with the red flags of the reviews.

    • Did you look at the product?

      It's a rebranded Samsung Panel.

      Name isnt eveything.

      • I didn't state name is everything. But location is, warranty is, back up service is..and reviews of more than a couple is a contributor. I used to sell appliances including TV.

      • That's not necessarily a complete comparison. Chances are, like a whole lot of other cheap TV brands e.g. JVC, Pinoeer, Veon etc. they're inferior panels/tvs which are hocked off for rebranding as they don't meet the same quality control requirements. I can't see anywhere it says it's a rebranded Samsung panel, but it does have Samsung features and software.

  • The smaller one is more expensive. Is this a pricing error
