Has any cheapies use toast electric, frank energy gona be absorbed by genesis, so power rate gona increase. What to get a feel of toast vs powershop and etc. read in reddit is good so far, however it takes a real cheapies to a hunt out a great deal. thanks

I signed up on Toast as well. They're the lowest rates in Chch (without all that free hour and bundle rates) from my area and are paying relatively cheap coming from Meridian.
I just signed up with PowerShop (I did check out Toast) which was the cheapest in my area. Electric Kiwi came out on top on the price comparison websites, but after doing my own search and comparing against them, Octopus Energy and PowerShop beat Electric Kiwis rates, but PowerShop edged out on top as won't be reselling solar which OctopusEnergy offers.
I'll just have to move my washing and high energy tasks to night time as PowerShop has low nighttime rates.
Plus I got $150 credit when I signed up. Or I could have chosen between a free weekend once a month for 12 months.
I think it's all dependant on your area, there's no company that blankets the cheapest rate over the nation.
