Folds have always been well above my price appetite so are not in tune with whether this is really a deal. Feel free to abuse me if not.
Going by PB Tech listing it is 56% off the full price of $3,449. Take this with a grain of salt - this may have been a price when it was fresh.
Also smaller storage options available for less.

I'm running oppo x5 pro and have no urge to upgrade to a newer model. Great screen, responsive and super fast charging. So would expect similar experience with Fold 5.
Just checked Fold7 pricing and at $4k it stings…
Just wish Oppo would drop the damn curved display.
They've gone flat on the new X9 series!
Fold 6 really fixed the hinge issues quite substantially so i would pass.
Rarely see them come back now.

Remember reading about the hinge and screen issues with early folds. Spending do much money on a phone for the issues like that to surface was too much so I lost interest.
Good to know this is now sorted. They only need to sort their pricing now :)
Your thoughts on the Oppo Find N3?
Only one has ever come back probably more to other stores (Customer induced damage dent in the screen which was covered by first screen in 12 months thing)
They are not as popular probably because Samsung software is a bit more "Mature"
By all means not a bad phone if you have used a oppo before similar form factor to a Google Pixel Fold
You could probably score a z fold 6 256gb on marketplace or trademe for roughly the same price for those that dont mind. 🙂
Tbh for this price you can almost get fold 7 128GB through the Samsung online store
