  • Great deal on the Fit3 watch. Replaced my Watch 6 with one and I'm finding it covers 90% of the function with much better battery life and smaller / lighter. I purchased a cheap nylon band on AliExpress and I forget I'm wearing it.

    • I've taken the plunge and ordered one now at this price. My gear sport has been out of support and I've been having to manually install an old version of the wear app since I got an s24 to make the thing work at all so it's time to try something else. I don't use it for tracking much anymore so it's mainly a notifications device and pedometer for me which a $65 band can do adequately.

    • So far so good, the fit band sips battery compared to my old gear sport and charges properly while turned on. I've been having to power off my old watch to charge it as it started to freak out if I left it on resulting in no charging.

Bit of an adjustment going to a smaller watch but for the price it's doing what I want from a watch which is subtle notifications and telling the time. Kind of miss the spinny bezel already but I'm sure I'll cope without it. If I struggle too much might look at the options on talk is cheap when I feel like splurging more than $70.

I've never had an issue with mine, use them a fair bit for finding our phone or keys.

I have 2 and they work great

I have one on my key ring that has been useful to find phone or keys vice versa.
The biggest blocker is me, I forget I have access to this feature, and usually do manual searches lol.

I use them on my cats and they're helpful.

    • Use them regularly for travel and had no issues

I have 3 of the smart tags and an air tag. Air tag does work better but was 2.5x the price and needs an iPhone to set up (go figure right!?) couldn't set it up using my MacBook annoyingly.

Samsung Tags are pretty hit or miss. Not good for real time but ok overall and give 7 days history of where they have been which is handy. The locator feature on the Samsung tag (long button press) is very helpful to track down my phone when that is hiding from me.

You can use it with smart things to do stuff as well, can't say I've used that functionality yet but nice to know it's an option. I'd like to see about linking it to a light so I can turn it on when I park up and can't find the lock.

Hey good tip thanks mate, didn't even think of that. I have been tinkering with 'modes and routines' on my Samsung phone to automatically connect hotspot to my car when I leave home then disconnect when I arrive. There might be something in that app which helps you with the lights too.

    • 7 days location history? that's crazy, hope it can be turned off.

      • Haha yeah it's a bit stalker vibes but also has its uses. Can't be turned off unless you turn off location tracking globally for Samsung/android I believe, but you can delete the location history manually.

Put one in my suitcase and showed to airline staff where my suitcase was in Sydney airport while they had no idea

    • Did you add the code to get it down to 65?

Is that monitor any good its OLED?

Generally bad reviews on their entry level OLED monitors

      • Typing on one of this model right now, what are the issues supposed to be with their oled monitors so I can check? Been flawless so far, looks amazing.

Maybe you're better off not finding out 😉

@ChonkySausage: 🤷 Spent the last half an hour looking, all I could find were the usual warranty complaints that Samsung generally get. Definitely not complaining about the product, especially when it only cost $500 after stacking some codes with the TV deal that was posted a few weeks ago.

            • @Kiwi: Wait only $500 how? Link :')

              • @1ys23: A few recently expired deals for TVs with trade in, but when you spent over X you could also stack the codes that were around at the time. It was about $1100 for the 55" QLED TV and 27" OLED monitor after trade in and code stacking. Monitor wasn't on sale, but had it's own code at the time for $200 off from memory.

@Kiwi: would also encourage anyone who may be eligible for Samsung EPP store (including students) to explore that, recently got their new 500hz oled for a very similar price to the one from op. this is still a good monitor and price, but i would personally wait for black friday
