Generally I navigate this site via the live page(the main page often misses the best deals/comments before they end), in the past when I clicked a deal link in the live page then went back to live it would remember my position on the page etc and I could continue scrolling down the live feed.
Now when I go back to the live feed it completely refreshes the page and loses my place in the feed meaning I have to scroll half a page again. Is this intentional/can we opt out?
Thanks
Hi,
Live page should continue to fetch in the background, and it updates the title of the page to indicate how many new items since your last visit, which should show up on the browser tab. We haven't touched Live page's mechanism for years so I don't think any recent update from us would have broken it.
Are you using Chrome? Do you use any Memory Saver settings that might have freed the memory of inactive tabs, which results a reload when the tab becomes active again?
