Normally $13, works out to be $1.04 per 100g, cheapest per 100g I've seen.
Even cheaper than Costco.

Unless I am reading it wrong (definitely possible), nearly a quarter of the Nutri-Grain pack is sugar (190g or so of what you would be buying)?
Woolworths also have Weetbix for $5.90 / 1.2kg (less than half the price per 100g), and less than 3% sugar.
If you have three Weetbix (50g total I think), you could add an insane four teaspoons of sugar and still only be at the same proportion as the Nutri-Grain.
There's a lot more protein in Nutri-Grain, but you're right, it's 24% sugar.
Less than double the protein but more than 8 times the sugar? Nah
i'm on low fat diet, i'm not worried bout the sugar, its pretty low fat so ok for me
Your body converts excess sugar to fat.
It is a lot of sugar, but it's per weight, and nutri grain is quite light so a bowl of it won't be as much sugar as it seems

Their suggested serving size is 40g - I seriously doubt that most people buying this will restrict themselves (or their kids) to only 40g at a time.
However, if you do go with 40g, that's about 10g of sugar, or about two and a half teaspoons, but I guess that each of us has to decide for ourselves whether that's not, 'as much sugar as it seems' :-)
You can often see it on special for $7.50 although I haven't see it go down to that for a few weeks.
The sales usually switch between Woolworths or The Warehouse.
I would recommend downloading the Grocer app. This one of the items we would only purchase when its on sale as $13 a box is ridiculous!
Write, when did it get so expensive. When I last had it I am sure it was under $5 and they have probably shrinked the size too
it was $8.00 for 765g at Woolworths in early December last year
Ludicrous price
I haven't eaten it in years, but why is it so expensive? Who is buying it for $13 normally?
It's sweet enough to be marketed as candy in Asia I bet.
Its 7.99 at my local pak this week
