i was curious then i saw the salt content, 1000mg - daily recommended intake is 2000mg
Ingredients
New Zealand Sea Salt, Mineral Salts (Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Citrate), Food Acid (Citric Acid), Natural Flavours, Sweetener (Stevia plant extract)
Useful when your doing a long endurance workout and sweating out loads of salt.
I've had a sweat test and lose 700mg during summer per hour of exercise at 165bpm so when I run a marathon I'm more than 2000mg in a deficit so would easily consume double or 3x even the daily recommended intake. If you get into endurance sports you will soon realise salt and carbs are crucial. The high sodium has had no impact on me, could easily go run 30k right now whereas the rest of my city fight over a car park 1m from pak and save entry and waddle around the supermarket out of breath.
Its an electrolyte drink, salts an electrolyte.
The citrus one is quite nice, I use it on days where I am playing a lot of sports to avoid cramps.
Shipping is $8.50 :)
