  • Comes up to $34.99 after $5.00 delivery fee for me

    • Showing $29.99 for me but upon looking at specs and reviews, it doesn't seem that good and is a weaker version of the Magic bullet which is being phased out? Only 200w, most reviews complaining that it is too weak and only really useful for small dips.

  • $5 flat rate delivery is pretty good. Wish more were that price.

  • +1

Flat delivery rates are good. (Free freight even better, though!)

It's been an oft used feature of 'special' sales (especially TM traders) to overstate delivery charges as an extra form on income on lower priced sales. Often to the point of being a scam. Never a nice flavour when you feel like you're being gouged on freight and delivery.

Also good that they have provision for a no-signature delivery. These days, couriers tend to just wave as they drive past your address, and call it a failed delivery, making you pick up from a depot.

So many times had couriers post failed deliveries when someone has been home all the time. Even knocked on the guy's van window as he's driven off, having barely slowed to a stop. Still refused to stop and called it a failed delivery. Repeated depot pickups defeats the whole point of courier deliveries. Bloody annoying.

    • I had to start charging a flat rate on trademe as people were unable to select the option that applied to them (Auckland, North Island, South Island) which often lead to a loss on my behalf as the hassle in trying to get someone to pay the correct delivery fee was such as hassle. This lead to Aucklanders complaining about paying $6.50 for a $5 service, but also had South Islanders paying the same $6.50 for a $8 service, but it was the only reasonable solution.

      • Yeah, nah, that's fair enough.

Flat rates will always do that. It's the folk who charge way way over the odds, so they collect $5 margin on the sale, and an extra $15 on the 'freight & handling' No biggie to pay for actual costs and fair margin. It's passing off profit as cost which is annoying.

    • Really?!? I would have knocked his block off. But yeah. He did drive away. My dad picked one up instore for $30. They were just happy to have a sale
