Where do you get your recipes? I find the ones in the book ask for some odd ingredients i've never heard of before
It's pretty forgiving. I bought some xanthar gum and use 1/8 teaspoon.
Try just two cans of mango or peaches in syrup nothing else. Blend the fruit pieces, then add enough canned syrup to make up the 700ml volume required. Really nice sorbet.
1x can Coconut cream with 1/3 cup sugar (with 1/8 teaspoon xanthar gum powder mixed with sugar) then add more coconut milk to make up to 700ml add some vanilla essence. Makes a nice dairy free ice-cream.
These are my own recipes from just mucking around. My son can't have uncooked dairy gets a rash, so it's good for that.
