I paid (yes silly me) $39 for the whole year. Got sick of resigning for free each time

don't need to sign up for nzherald premium to read premium articles…..just need to use the archive websites

You get both in the offer but you could use an address inside the delivery area & some (friend or hopefully grateful random) person gets a free (paper) herald delivery & you could use your (alias/disposable) email address/ph# to get the online edition. You need a functioning ph# otherwise your trial is likely to be cancelled early.
EDIT: As an after thought I can't actually tell you if the online part gets cancelled early as I rarely used it but the physical copy can & probably will be.- 0
