Offer Details: Customers who purchase a new BYD Shark 6 in September and October 2025 may choose $4,000 NZD in either:

• Vehicle Optional extras and accessories (fitted at delivery), or

• A reduction in the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)

The $4,000 cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.

      There was this deal last year. Greater than 50% discount:

      And that was because the RZ450e was selling poorly due to being generally underwhelming. Based on the BZ4X which is slightly underwelming EV, and the lexus bits like the interior fall short of what is in the RX for comparison.

      Shark 6 is a fairly new release and quite popular, so I don't think we will see deeper discounts. When they had the similar $5k your way deal in June they sold 412 in that single month.

  Took one for a nice long test drive. Awesome acceleration and huge truck to if you are into that sort of thing ( I am for sure).

  The ride was really rough tho esp at low speed and that's coming from driving a Toyota hilux with a flat deck so it was a huge no from me. Oh and the driving assistance tech is the worst known to mankind. Just horrific implementation.

    Hmm… I also hope that BYD takes the feedback and makes changes. IMO they should ditch the dealers and sell by themselves like the Tesla model. It’d be cheaper for us to buy as well.
    I was talking to a BYD dealer one time about their new Godseye system (their Autopilot) which launched with a fanfare but he was dismissive &skipped over it saying it wouldn’t come here. He almost didn’t even know. I can see why no feedback is going to the company with this dealership system.
