I just received an email saying URGENT:Cashrewards is closing - claim your cashback now.

I am guessing if anyone has any credit outstanding do so now

Important Notice - Closure of Cashrewards
From 12pm AEST, Monday, 8 September 2025, Cashrewards ceased making offers available on its Website, App and Notifier.

See below key dates and actions following our closure. We have also set out what you need to do to access any remaining rewards in your account.

Some important details of which you need to be aware:

Recent transactions will continue to track and be approved or declined in the next 3 days. All transactions that are pending as at Thursday, 11 September 2025 will be approved and then you will be able to withdraw your cashback.

If you have any untracked or queried transactions, please submit your queries by 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 10 October 2025. All queries submitted after this date will not be assessed.

Please withdraw your funds by 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 24 October 2025. To withdraw your funds simply click Withdrawal in My rewards and follow the steps outlined in the FAQ's.

Members who have not withdrawn by this deadline, but have a linked bank or PayPal account, will have their available funds automatically transferred to those accounts. If you have both bank and PayPal details linked, the transfer will be made to your linked bank account.

PayPal withdrawals will cease at 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 24 October 2025. After this date, withdrawals will only be available to your nominated bank account.

After 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 24 October 2025 withdrawals will only be processed manually. You will need to contact our member services team for assistance via our Help Desk Portal or email,

All withdrawal claims must be received by Friday, 12 December 2025.

If you have not submitted a request to withdraw your balance by 11:59am AEDT, Friday, 12 December 2025, we will contact you and advise how you can access your cashback.

For those who have gift cards, they will only remain available in your wallet until 11:59am AEDT on Friday, 24 October 2025, however they will still be accessible via email. We strongly urge all members to download any gift cards you have stored in their wallet.

    The website fell over pretty hard seconds after that email went out. Just managed to get in at last to find out I'd already cleared out my cash back.

    Guess I might have to start paying nominal fees for my vpns now this has gone under.

      Sign up with topcashback au or shopback nz so you at least get something

        Already heavily using shopback especially for the odds and sods orders for things like phone cases from temu. I'll take 95% cashback but will miss the 105% cash rewards used to run.

    Has anyone here redeemed Cashrewards to a PayPal account recently?

    I had two redemptions in mid-July, and after sitting as pending in PayPal for over 6 weeks, they finally showed as Payment received – declined. This seems very unusual.

    I’ve used PayPal before to receive rewards from other programs and never had an issue, so I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced the same with Cashrewards → PayPal redemptions.

    Appreciate any insights. Thanks!

    It says withdrawn and paid to PayPal 10days ago. I can't see anything in Paypal.
    Do I need to do a "receive" money request or would it all be automatic?

      It's automatic.

      There are major delays with the PayPal withdrawals, myself and everyone over on OzBargain experiencing the same.

    CashRewards are now telling customers that PayPal Withdrawals will be up to 14 days delayed, this is likely on top of the regular 7 day wait.

    For the money received in AUD in PayPal, what's the best way of getting into NZ bank in NZD or spending them via payal? Compared the exchange rate, the difference is like over $50 bucks NZD. Some tips?

      I mean, i would just avoid converting. If i buy things online and they have paypal i just pay in Aud or whatever currency

    Don't forget to withdraw your money. I had $4 owing and i assumed i wouldn't be able to withdraw it, but actually there is no minimum withdrawal limit currently
