[Hamilton] DeWalt XR Five-piece Kit DCZ550P2-XE $999.93 @ Mitre 10 Ruakura (Instore Only)

I saw this digital sign yesterday in Mitre10 Ruakura. I had to ask to be shown the kit itself, which had both the original price ($1899) and a marked-down price around $1450 on it but not the $999.93 price, and the digital sign was looping through a few other signs, and it is full price online so this deal is easy to miss.

The tools are getting a bit long in the tooth but reviewed well back in their day.

Like all kits, whether this deal is good or not depends on how much of it you need. Even though this feels like a saving of $900, if you only need a couple of the tools it might be better to take advantage of DeWalt's current offer of a free battery and charger with bare skins.
