I signed up with them 2 months ago but just got an email that they are increasing prices. They are giving me the option to cancel with no break fees and am planning to take it. Any recs for best offer out there and should I bundle my power or not as currently it is bundled with 2 Degrees and their prices are higher hence keen to take the free exit.

Yes that is one of the options.
1. Stay on the same plan and do nothing.
2. Change plan.
3. Cancel with no break fees.
They gave me 30 days from today to decide.
Honestly, I find them being cheeky as right after the line that mentions the increase, they followed it with the speed boost that was actually not done by them but by Chorus. Makes me feel that they are using it as justification for the price increase.
If I click through on their $55/month 100/20 plan it jumps to $65 on the next page. Anyone else get this? I cant see anything there that adds to the cost (BYOD router/12month term).

Includes a $10 pay monthly discount.

The $55 includes the $10/month discount for having a 2Degrees Pay Monthly mobile as well.
This is selected by default in the box underneath where you enter your address to search for available plans headed up "Stack discounts".
There is also an option for an additional $20/month off if you bundle power.
Ah yer I see - it auto ticks it once you add your address, didnt see that.

2degrees only has it for 55 if you have a 2degrees post paid mobile.
Sky has it for 50 for first 12 months without anything.

Simply broadband, $79.79/mo for 500/100. They also have a slower option for $59.59

Yes i got the same email and want to change too. Want fibre without power

Skinny on 500/100 plan is doing $85 per month with $5 discount if BYO modem. $10 discount if you are on Skinny's mobile plan i.e., atleast $27 4-week.
1 month free for new customers on a 12 months contract.
If you could avail above discounts, it comes down to $64.17 per month.
Now all ISP are increasing prices from 1st August and skinny would be increasing it by $5 which will bring it to ~70 per month.
I got an email from them too, 95 plan is going up to 105. They too are giving me the option to cancel my contract I just started a couple of months ago.

I signed up to Contact Energy's $200 promo for their no contract plan in the meantime, $85 a month and I'll leave after 4 months = $35 a month for 500/100 plan.
That being said I don't know if you can add broadband on it's own as I am with them for power (Good Nights 3 hours free every night)

No. You need power with them to get broadband.

If you are canceling mid term make sure you do it before the deadline otherwise you'll have to pay break fees. You also need to give them 30 days notice, so try and time the switchover date with end of what you're paid up to otherwise it can be a pain trying to get credit back.

Hmm. I signed up just over 1 month ago on a 12-month term.
So far no letter yet about any price increase. Will be a bit peeved if they do increase this in coming months. I switched to 2Degrees, as One NZ also did the same to me by increasing price 8 months into the 12-month term. Although did get $300 credit from OneNZ on joining and I got $150 credit from 2Degrees.

Just moved to mercury on their gig fibre bundle. Their electricity rates were pretty much the same as my current provider and $55/mo for gig fibre, for a year, was the best offer I saw. (6months free, $110/mo after that)
To be fair to 2degrees when you call them to cancel i've found their customer retention team to be pretty decent. last 2 years they could match.. this time they offered discounts to bring it down from the proposed $114 to $89.

Any idea if they would let you swap to the upgraded fibre starter instead, the 100/20 for $55/mo or whatever is great value.
