Help needed - Airfryer Recommendations

Hey Guys,

Our airfryer head the death bed, wondering what's the best airfryer around $100-$200.

Thanks :)

  • We have an earlier version of this that we use on nearly a daily basis, and we've been very happy with it: https://www.kmart.co.nz/product/12l-air-fryer-oven-black-435…

There's also a larger version in silver that seems to have good reviews, but I can't vouch for it myself: https://www.kmart.co.nz/product/25l-air-fryer-and-oven-silve…

    • +1

We have a Kmart air fryer as well that hasn't missed a beat.
It's only small but is big enough for the use we need, although don't think it is available anymore.

I like the fact that it's so basic - just a couple of dials (temperature and time) which means less things that can go wrong.

      • Honestly, this make and model has lasted me for near daily use for years. It's virtually replaced my main oven. It's a workhorse and I'm super glad I chose this one as my first air fryer and cannot be more pleased with its performance these past 4-5 years.

I was in Kmart at the weekend and they do still have it. So I bought one for my daughter's family

        • Good to know it's still available.
The stock on hand showed it out of stock at most stores so I just assumed it was gone now.

  • Bought this ninja af100 3.8L air fryer when it was $98 in a sale. Our last one, bought from bunnings, had the leg stand broken and was in a bad shape.
Very impressed with the ninja though. Small and pretty quick. Does its job well.

    • Second this. parents have a larger warehouse one and ours makes food crispy and golden with same time and temp setting.

  • Avoid the digital control ones. Second one of mine with it has had them start to fail, the rotary for the time is now erratic and the display has some seriosly dim segments for the —— that displays on it all the time when not in use.

2 knobs is all you need. Like a microwave.

  • I have the larger stainless kmart one. Great size for a family and to do rotisserie chicken or chips rotated. I also can put two trays in at a time, yes i switch them over for an even coom. Great value.

  • We got a ninja dual drawer from Noel leaning on the NZMCA discount, was a bit over $200, and it's excellent.
