How fast is a "fast hair cut"?
Do you still use a scissors to cut or is it just a razer 30 sec chop and done?
The fact this is in CBD i.e. paying High st rent and offer below average price for a cut is concerning.
Given minimum wage is 23.5, rent, utility, owner's cut etc the cut is most likely <15 min if not <<<15min to even just break even.

    • Maybe it's just a promotion and they are willing to take a loss to bring in recurring customers?

Almost certainly but with so many in the CBD you got to wonder what is it about these guys that people aren't going there that they need to do this.
Back when I worked in CBD Malony's was the go to for guys. There was also a fancy one downtown that I can't remember the name off room 107 or something.
With hair cuts if you want it cheap you can always do a horrible job yourself for free with a razor.
There's also barber's that have students that do it for free.

These people on google have 4 reviews?????

My point is with hair cuts you get what you pay for and it can literally be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be and you get what you pay for.

        • Yup 100% agree with you - the reality is, anyone can set up a hairdresser - and if you're going to let anyone cut your hair, you better be okay with the consequences. I don't know who these people are - but they do seem to have a two other hairdresser salons in Auckland.

In terms of haircuts though, where do people get them cut? I have been a Room 107 person - they are expensive, but pretty excellent. I've had mixed results with Gentry, and everyone else in the CBD I am too scared to try out.
