Yeah! I would go for anything but SE because of the ECG feature.
I have a S7 and being using it for few years, no issues at all.
I guess anything other than Ultra will require a daily charge, but these have quick charge feature.

Thanks for posting OP :) enjoy your watches everyone who bought one. I was able to get a Stainless Steel Apple Watch 8 41mm in my preferred colour! For $447 this is honestly the lowest price I have ever seen for a brand new product. What a great sale :)
Received my new Apple Watch 8 today however surprised to see the Apple care expired in 2023. Wouldn’t have expected that for an unopened brand new product (there were some open box watches being sold which specifically said no Apple care but mine didn’t mention this) .. anyone else found this from their purchase?
yep this happened to me also. un-open, had to charge the battery and then update and then setup, when looking for apple care December 2023. No where was there anything on the page about this model specifically said no Apple care. i have emailed them and will report to consumerprotection.govt.nz.
I’ve emailed JB too but no response yet. Will be interested to hear if you get any response from consumer protection
Talked to JBHifi today, they accepted they made a mistake and are correctly it. Very happy with the outcome.

From memory the JB Website said it didn't have an apple warranty but instead a 'JB Warranty'

Probably the best sale I have seen on Apple Watches. I have had the AWU1 since release almost two years ago. And still flawless. Heavy use with no case or screen protector and not a single scratch. For that reason along with the better battery I would recommend potential buyers go for the Ultra 1 or Ultra 2.
