[AKL] Open Gym Sessions for Under 16's, $15 Per Session (from 3:30PM ~ 5PM, Sundays) @ Tristar Gymnastics, Mt Roskill

21

Tristar gymnastics runs open gym sessions most Sundays 3:30pm-5pm in term time. No completive gymnasts allowed, but otherwise open.

Other times and prices for pre-school and adult sessions.

Check their homepage before you go as they put up a banner for weeks they cancel it (If say they are hosting a tournament).

Registration required (free to do on their webpage) which is free.

Payment of $15 required on arrival.

Completely unstructured. Younger children bring their own adults to supervise them. Participants have the run of the main gym, which has all the Olympic gymnastics apparatus (beams, rings, vaults, bars, sprung floors, trampolines etc), along with crash mats, foam pits etc. My child had a great time.

2 of the 5 Olympic trampolines have a wide weave, so it is recommended children wear socks on those ones. bare feet is fine for everything else.

Listing as a deal as it is cheaper than commercial indoor playgrounds, commercial trampoline parks etc.

  • Is there a deal here?

    • Significantly cheaper than other indoor active recreation activates (Indoor playground's, trampoline parks, climbing walls etc).

I try to post things that are great value, even if they are not discounted. Chasing discount percentage's encourages Briscoes style pricing models (crazy high regular prices and near constant discounting), which I don't think is great for society.

Feel free to up or down vote as you see fit.
