  • This phone really looks amazing.
By the way how’s the camera compared to the competition?

    • I could go on forever and not make much sense. I've had a 12 Pro for the past 3 years and I was not planning on upgrading it anytime soon. Phone is still performing great and the camera is super decent.

But this one is yet better than my 12 Pro and according to some reviews I watched, the camera to beat. GSM Arena had a good review (the small issues haven't affected me so far, I haven't had any), but this one from Mrwhostheboss(youtu.be) on YouTube can give you a good idea. At least the first half of it.

It's a pretty amazing phone and when I got it, I paid $1748.99, which is pretty good if you're looking at Samsung as competition.

I heard it sold out on PB Tech so this new offer is on order for next month.

    • +1

My P30 has a Leica and until about last year no flag ships phones really beat it, so I would say the Leica on this Xiaomi would be just as superb

  • I have a Xiaomi 15 Ultra and I can say that yes, the camera is awesome. But my friend has a Oneplus 12 (not even the latest 13), and it beats the Xiaomi 15U by far when it comes to camera.
The software on the Oneplus is also better.
So realistically, if I could choose again after experiencing both phones I would pick the OnePlus 12, because the Op13's cameras aren't as good as the OP12.

    • I may have to do a bit more research on that. My husband has the Oneplus 13R and I find the camera average; but to be fair, I haven't really played much with it.

I've been with Xiaomi for a while now and was not keen on a different OS; plus I love how it works for me. In my personal experience, I'd fo Xiaomi again, but not the cheaper ones (obviously). I love the camera, and the editing within its system (and now I have the photography kit). :)
