Bunnings Powerpass - CSC or Assetlab?

I've used the Assetlab membership account for a few years. Received an email today inviting me to sign up for a PowerPass account using my newly created CSC membership account. Does anyone know which one has a higher discount rate?

  • Assetlab random list

I/N number - price (incl gst)

    0088451 - 14.79

    0503986 - 6.28

    0128928 - 52.83

    0507487 - 29.67

    0446203 - 21.88

    2583986 - 359.10

    6290549 - 61.43

    0544709 - 854.05

    0430494 - 236.56

    • My CSC discounts prices are higher than your listed above except for 0544709 - $831.58. So I guess it depends.

On side note, can you login to powerpass app using assetlab? I have assetlab card, but can't login to the app. How do you check the prices using assetlab card?

      • You'll need to ring Bunnings to activate your account for the app.

        • I never rung Bunnings for my assetlab powerpass…

Can you check you have same discounts, to confirm that list i posted for assetlab prices is actually correct.

I guess it's similar to CSCBG Premium and Main. Better to have both.

    • Heres mine (just a regular NZBN account with powerpass)

      0088451 -15.66

      0503986 - 6.64

      0128928 - 54.30

      0507487 - 30.33

      0446203 - 21.88

      2583986 - 369.08

      6290549 - 61.43

      0544709 - 831.58

      0430494 - 241.53

Seems like its the same as the CSC pricing (as only the one item was cheaper

Maybe someone with csc can reply

  • I have both and found Assetlab offer better discount in most products.

    • Thanks for the clarification!

    • Can you check my list to see if you have the same discounts for your powerpass assetlab. I never had to phone Bunnings to activate my assetlab (nz property investors Facebook group) powerpass card.

  • I'm aware of another discount for Bunnings with cdhb (Canterbury district health board) not sure how good it is.

I work for ccdhb (capital and coast district health board - Wellington) and I'm not aware of any Bunnings discount for us.

Although i imagine in the future some of these localised benefits might change as we are moving away from district health board to te whatu ora (single health board for nz).

  • It would be interesting to compare the Fonterra Farmsource card discounts against CSC and Assetlab.

It was certainly interesting to browse the Placemakers CSC discounts online using the Groupgate login. The mark ups for retail on some things are crazy, was almost 100% for fascia board.

The Farmsource prices can only be checked at the counter so it's not very convenient. I'd checked it once for an HRV filter, the Assetlab price was cheaper. So I never bother to use Farmsource again.
