    You'd think both parties would be contributing, but if I had to make an educated guess I'd say Purple Visa would be paying a much bigger portion of this cost. It's a customer acquisition cost for them. The new card holder might earn them interest income in the future. SBS Bank own the Purple Visa credit card, so it's funded better than a run of the mill card finance company.

  Have anyone done this? Is it easy to cancel the purpole visa?
  If you cancel before the 12 months mark does that mean you only need to spend $55 1 off signing fee?

    This is correct according to previous comments on this deal. I haven't received the cash back yet but have only been charged 55.

    I think it may be better to buy direct from Samsung with some of the deals posted here , NL would form my point of view not be able to match those deal even with 300 off.
