  • What’s the tv for? You can probably get a cheap 55” for around $500.

Sounds like it needs to be decent with a $2,000 budget.

    • 4k tv and gaming - happy to spend 1.5k+

  • Sony x90L? Prices seem pretty good atm as it's a 2023 TV, good reviews on reddit.

    • 100% awesome telly !

We got a JVC 55 inch 4K Ultra HD QLED Google Smart TV from The Warehouse a few months ago, seemed like a really good deat for $649. Our 10 year old 50 inch Sony had just died. I wanted Google TV built in to keep it simple, the tv is perfect so far, very quick, does everything we need, way better and faster than the Sony was but I'd expect that with new vs old. You could get the 65" version for under $1k on special. Or go for the Mini-LED versions. They have a 3 year warranty which didn't seem common when i was comparing to others (only 1 year for some Sonys and Samsungs I saw).

If you can get to 2k, I'd say you'd be stupid to not get an OLED when on sale. Even an LG B4.

55" B4 has been under 1900 in Jan and under 2k in April.

    • I like this idea. I'll wait around I guess I'm using a 20 year old Sony 1080p ATM ha

    • Agreed. I bought a 65 inch LG A2 a couple of years ago for round $1400. Great TV. Try looking for a prior generation OLED. I'd go bigger if I could go back.

      • Yeah, I bought a 2023 65" Samsung OLED last year. Huge upgrade from any LED, even if it's a generation older.

    • Love how the 55" B4 is listed as clearance but it's full price.
