  Got this tonight. Holy heck it was great!!! For dinner I'd suggest that the 4 person actually only feeds 2 . But feeds well

  How long does it take to make these things? I selected their earliest pick up option at 11.45am (they open at 11.30am) but the confirmation email says 3.45pm?

      Yeah I saw that, but at checkout it says they'll make it as soon as they open and allowed me to select 11.45am, very confusing….

  That was an amazing feed, best $30 I've spent in a while. Between my brother and I, managed to make 8 jam packed tacos, and 4 large bowls of nachos!

    I ordered earlier today (around midday)….had to do it via the app and it worked….hoping for the best, otherwise there are going to be some very hungry unhappy passengers in the car :D

    Wondering if it could be due to the perceived time to order - ie I ordered mine at 12:35 and the pickup time is automatically set as +5 hours (ie 5:35pm) - so if you order now and it is past the close time of the store then maybe that is the problem?

        I managed to order at 3pm via the app for pickup tonight (thanks to @AleBeerenhoff for the tip).

        Ordering via web did not let me proceed — so hopefully it's there tonight!

    Sorry we finished it already. First time trying Mexicali Fresh and based off this, probably won’t get it again. Everything was a bit dry and flavourless, plus the ordering experience was super chaotic. Agree with other posters that the portion sizes are too small for the number of people they’re meant to serve

    I ordered tonight for 6. I got the beef and chicken, both were horribly dry and quite cold. Dont know if I was unlucky but if this is what its always like I wouldnt order again even at 50% off.

    Sorry didn't grab any photos, we got the gluten free option which came with hard shell taco's (rather than soft shell). We also ordered the fajita veges and the jack fruit. Picked it up and there was no cheese when we opened it at home :(, but the rest was on par with expectations. It is mexican sharing platters from a fast food joint tbh so expectations should be in line with what you see in front of you when ordering in store :D Ours wasn't dry at all though - and it was still warm by the time we travelled the 30+ min home.
    In saying that, we were pretty happy with the tasty options and were damn full. Have dinner for 2 nights (ordered the 6 person option) and household of 2 adults and 1 child, so yeah not massive portion sizes but not too off point I would say (we stuffed ourselves full).
    When thinking about whether we would do it again - not if it wasn't at this price point. We would prefer to get our normal options rather than this platter - it was good, but just not as good as the full price would indicate.

  Just picked up my 6 person kit, every item including the salads and meats were in the tiny square bowl. I rang and complained and they said they weigh it, but there is a tablespoon of each item per person if you are lucky.

      Our 4 person kit was a great meal for 2, would have fed 3 fine, but a push at 4. Seems like each store is different

  Yeah nah it wasn't a feed for 4 and my god there were like 18 freaking containers and they all just had little amounts of everything, I would never pay full price ever, half price was perhaps worth it.
