  I don't know much about this, but would I be correct in thinking that they image your skin, then you get it done again sometime later, and they compare the changes to determine if there is a potential problem?

  If so, does that mean that you are up for at least two sessions, so both the 'first time' and the 'return visit' cost shown, or does the cost shown for a 'first visit' cover two sessions sometime apart, and a return visit is a subsequent (third) session?

    I can only speak to my experience; first appointment, they go over your whole body looking for moles/spots/irregularities in your skin.

    They'll image ALL of them initially, and all of these will be analysed by AI initially (AI is new as of ~2024), and any that look of concern will go through to a specialist to review. You could have 80+ spots, but maybe only 20 of them are ones that they want to keep an eye on.

    Within 10 days you'll get a report on if any are of concern and what the recommend the action is.

    If all is well, wait a year and go again. They'll image that subset again and compare it against the previous years images (and the AI will run over it again).
    If any are of concern, a specialist will look over them and you'll get a report.

    This was my third year going, and they did another whole body check for any new spots (none for me, yay!) along with imaging the other ones that are on file.
    If you do 'Full Body' check, you also get free spot checks between appointments if anything pops up that you haven't seen before.

    Hopefully that makes sense! :)

    They also have a web portal to manage everything, images, reports, appointments etc so makes it pretty easy.

      Yea they will go over your body, take photos and maybe a biopsy if wanted/high probability.
      Its can be quite expensive if you dont have health insurance, they can refer you to the public system.

  Initial full body mole check consultations cost $220 inc. GST. Follow-up mole screening consultations (within two years of your last full body check appointment) are $195 inc. GST.
