Just thought i'd make a note here for future reference as I had the same question when I was looking into the Canon cashback.
The canon cashback website states payment will be made within 30 days of receiving the claim, in my case it has taken 25 days so while the website states within 30 days it seems payment is made later as oppose to earlier so beware of having funds tied up for nearly a month.
Yea, from past experience, it does take close to the 30 days to get the cash back through. Never had any problems getting them processed however, so it's reliable, but slow.
I thought it might be worthwhile making a note as no doubt we will be seeing some more cheap or free printer deals.
Still waiting for my Canon cashback. Applied on the 14/12/2015, claim approved on 7/01/2016.
On my claim approval email it says that I have to wait up a further 28 days to receive my cashback.
"The Canon Promotions Team will endeavour to process your gift as soon as possible. Please allow up to 28 days to receive your gift."
I think I applied 23 Dec and got a confirmation something like 10am on Christmas day, not sure how that works.
Applied 11th Dec, approved 16th Dec, paid 15th jan (Direct to account)
Jeez, cutting it fine there Canon.
Keep in mind it's during xmas/new year time period and probably wasn't even looked at further until the second week of this month. If you value prompt cashback iirc Brother is something like 10 days guaranteed(or they pay you some $$)
