  • It's having site connection failures for me. Out of curiosity, is this to Haneda or Narita?

    • +2

Narita neither airport is bad the train ride is not that long nor expensive.

      • I prefer Haneda, compared to Narita I'm usually at my hotel about an hour sooner. Not worth booking a more expensive flight for, but still a consideration at the end of a long journey.

  • +2

AFAIK Fiji always fly to Narita

Has anyone actually booked AND flown through a flight with these partnered/third party websites and found them legit? Just can't see the padlock icon and it seems to be international based websites, not done this before obviously so would like to hear from anyone

    • +2

Fiji likely has the same price thru their website that's how we booked last time.

    • +2

Honestly, for the $60 difference, I'd just book through the Fiji Airways website (and have done 3 times)

    • I booked flights and flew to China through Beat That Flight (rediected to mytrip.com) and didn't have any issues

    • The only time I got tripped up was when I booked via Vayama which has practically zero customer service. There was a flight rescheduling and I had to reach out to the airline itself because Vayama emailed me ambiguous info and couldn't be contacted for clarification. If I'd paid $5-10 more via Trips, com or similar then I would have had someone to call.

Obviously I'm the OP, but I've used the 3rd party sites for nearly 20 years and only had one issue, during covid (and I eventually got credit). More info here

  • How long do these deals usually last for? Is it time based or availability based?

    • Depends on the airline, most have 'buckets' of sale fares, so a combination of both, really :p
