Pak'n'Save were cheaper for diesel when I looked this morning. By a lot. $1.46 vs about $1.66.

Why is 91 all of a sudden so much cheaper? I just filled up three days ago and price was $2.62 minus the 20c/L off with that new Z rewards promo!
Gulls and NPD been doing many more discount days for a few weeks now. Fuel industry getting more desperate to prop up fuel, especially petrol (commercial mostly Desal), sales volumes with deep recessionary downwards effect in NZ, and most of the western world now, with the USA following fast too. And even with lower real retail fuel price competition in NZ , they can't resist against the facts : Brent Crude Oil pricing down further sharply to 68 - 69 USD a barrel, with a steady NZD exchange rate just on $0.57 NZD against the USD.
Caltex Riccarton comes down to $2.221 with 6c pumped discount
