May or may not be useful information to someone.
After no Kogan special I signed up for Warehouse Mobile "$15" plan for a month that came with extra data.
It expired about five days ago. And while I was going to (and will) renew with Kogan I got caught up in stuff going on, and as a result ended up with no plan.
Perhaps obvious things:
you can still receive txts (I knew that already).
Suprised to find Incan also still receive calls (makes sense I guess, they are the one paying).
The interesting thing:
I am still getting mobile data. At least six days after my plan ended.
I don't want to check the balance in case it then wipes it off. But I guess it's something to do with yr bonus data.
I kinda need my number active unfortunately (especially since stupid Warehouse turned on my answering service again - something I'd never check even if I could!) - or else I'd just keep it going and see what happens.
I might even chuck in the card occasionally to check, or just download a 5gb+ file before I switch and see if I hit the limit.
Probably not helpful - but interesting. Makes me wonder how long it'd last (time wise) Would be super helpful for a car GPS tracker or similar.
I don't know of any provider that wouldn't let you receive calls with no plan.
