Does anyone know if Air New Zealand is likely to release any cheaper fares to London soon? I just saw they are doing cheaper flights the US and Asia so did that mean Europe will follow soon? TIA

I had a quick look and found previous sale periods to Europe on the 3-25 November, 1-11 October and 26-30 September.
If you look at January last year they had a sale period on the 15th Jan to 7th Feb so you may only need to wait a few days.They do have regular discounts but you may need to be flexible on the dates of travel.
They do them in endless cycles, so yes they will at some point. (Who knows when)
